Have you ever learned something in class and felt inspired to learn more, but as quickly as you embraced this new concept, you had to move onto the next? Have you ever felt as if you wanted more control over what you learned in class? That you would like more autonomy in what you studied, especially in English? If so, you're in luck. ZIP is an English based inquiry project where you, the learner, embark on an adventure in your own learning. You propose a question about a topic you would like to learn about, craft a proposal and outline of how you intend to explore this topic or subject, connect your proposal to the English curriculum, and use focused time both in and outside of class to document and present your learning to your peers and teachers.
